Imagine Main Street
MANCHESTER — The first Imagine Main Street of 2019 will welcome authors, publishers and book lovers of all ages, on Thursday, Jan. 10, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Activities will take place at the Army-Navy Club, Harvest Beads, EM Dougan Art and Framing, and Pinewood Furniture, all located on Main Street in Manchester's historic Downtown.
Meet authors Elsa Kurt, Lauryn Wendus, Jessica Lucci, Allyson Louise Norton, Melissa Hayes, Kitty Barry, Billie Kowalewski, C. Coco DeYoung, Dexter Herron, A. A. Freda, Dana Buckmir and Michael Bailey.
The evening will include a writing workshop, book making class and vintage book display. Manchester High School Young Writers and Illustrators club will be on site, along with Jamie Wilkens' book-themed hats, Amy Marcione's bookmarks for sale and the Online Book Club will offer information/
For those who would like a libation along with a good book, Filomena's, Bistro on Main, and Mulberry's will be offering special drinks, such as The Scholarly Scotch, Dog-Eared Cognac and Librarians' Libation. The Angry Egg will have special evening hours as well.
New hats, socks and gloves can be donated at the locations and will be donated to MACC charities. Park on Forest Street or other downtown lots.
