Native American Heritage Month
This month we honored Native American Heritage Month by reading books by and about Native American people.
The two books we focused on were very different from each other. One was NON-FICTION, a manga called "Surviving the City, Volume 1."
The other was a book of FICTION, "What the Eagle Sees: Indigenous Stories of Rebellion and Renewal."
I borrowed both of these books at the Waltham Public Library, and found the Teen Librarian to be super helpful!
