LET IT SNOW!
This month, as winter bears down on us, we will cozy up witha couple of snow themed books.
"Ice Bears at Ice Edge," written by Robert Burleigh, illustrated by Wendell Minor, is a full color illustrated book featuring a a mama and cub polar bear duo who struggle to survive in a world with rising temperatures. After the story, the book includes pages of non-fiction about polar bear facts, and about climate change.
"White Out," is a snowy romance novel by a team of authors: Dhonielle Clatton, Tiffany D. Jackson, Nic Stone, Angie Thomas, Ashley Woodfolk, and Nicola Yoon.
Join the FB Live on Jessica Lucci's FB page at 6pm on Sunday, December 10. We will discuss and read from the books, and have some cozy winter time to ourselves.
Both of these books were found at the Waltham Public Library.
